Birdwatching illustrations for the City Lit term 3 guide. Design by Fabrik.
Words and Pictures

I'm showing three embroideries at Drawn Together, an illustration exhibition at A Thin Place. The displayed artworks explore the concept of community. I've gathered together the past three submissions to Peckham Open (2012/13/14) to show a few glimpses of South London, which will be presented together at the show.
The show runs from 5 March to 31 March 2015, with a private view opening tomorrow from 6pm-8pm

Produced some illustrations for Toast's Milk Tea Bread series of debates exploring the history, science and politics of these three staples. Get tickets and more information here.
I started working on this zine shortly after New Year, inspired by the films of Val Kilmer circa 1986-1995. It highlights seven of Kilmer's films - Top Gun, Willow, The Doors, Tombstone, True Romance, Heat and Batman Forever. You can buy it at my Etsy page. I'll be showcasing the original drawings in a joint show with Millie Easton in the near future.

I did some illustration for the City Lit term 2 guide - one of Maria up in the hills with the Von Trapp children and an assortment of ancient Egyptian inspired illustrations. Designed by Fabrik.

I was lucky enough to visit a secret club/en hemmelig club’s ‘Expedition 2: To The North’ and help with a workshop on Friday 14th December, stitching shapes to add to colourful paper huts that had been made in a previous workshop. The show itself had work from a group of really talented artists including Anna Walsh (Garudio Studiage), Rita Furstenau, Phuc Van Dang, Cendrine Rovini and Esther McManus.
I made two embroideries for the show ‘The Northern Herdsmen’ and ‘Herdsmen’s Sampler’. The pieces have a border that glows in the dark after being exposed to a room of light or UV light. The colourful dress of the herdsmen keep evil spirits away as they heard their flock of antlered sheep through the Northern Forest.
Conker bell – autumn flora, hand painted with reactive glaze.
Bird bell – green slip stripes, shiny white glaze and bird transfers.
‘Camber-bell’ – shiny white glaze and transfers of faces from around Camberwell.
I'm really excited to be showing with a secret club again in their new show opening this weekend - 'Expedition No.2: To The North!'. The exhibition will transform a former post office in Aarhus, with work by a secret club and a whole host of talented artists who have explored the world of The Northern Forest described by Annabelle Nielsen and Kenn Munk.
I'm showing two embroideries depicting the herdsmen of The Northern Forest and their world..no pictures just yet, don't want to spoil the surprise (it does glow-on-the dark). We'll be running a workshop together on Friday 12th December from 12pm-3pm, embroidering onto huts that have been created during the exciting workshops put together during the show.
The show can be found at the corner of Vesterbro Torv and Vesterport, 8000 Aarhus C, Denmark.
