Peckham Platform Open 2015 - Choumert Square

This year I visited Choumert Square during their open gardens in June. I'd always walked past this curious gated road and had a peek through the gates. I saw this colourful visitor looking around and this formed the embroidery which I presented at this year's Open 15 at Peckham Platform (I'm aiming to submit one every year - the first was in 2012). I won third prize as part of the gallery's choice awards, which was lovely as I haven't won anything in a very long time.

Cinnamon Bun Week - Nordic Bakery

Nordic Bakery asked selected illustrators to draw their famous cinnamon buns as part of a celebration taking place next week in honour of Cinnamon Bun Day. Cinnamon Bun Week (28th September-4 October) will take place at the different Nordic Bakery shops in London and will involve special flavours of cinnamon buns and a new cake! I got my felt-tips out to draw the above. Check out their website for more details.

Ali and Chris' Wedding Stickers

Two of my favourite people got married this weekend. The bridemaids got together and produced one or two sticker designs to be applied to bottles filled with flowers on tables. We were inspired by real ale style labels. I'm was chuffed to have one of mine printed onto glasses which were given to guests as party favours.
