Christmas Cracker cards

I've made my Christmas card this year and just posted it on my Etsy to buy. I cross~stitched four Christmas crackers onto aida fabric and had them printed on A6 sized card. You can buy a set of four with envelopes for £8 here.

I love reading about folklore and superstitions, especially around Christmas. I like the way it connects with history, rituals slowly evolving with new customs. I researched and illustrated 'Twelve Food Superstitions of Christmas' which you can now read on the At The Table editorial section here.

I've stitched a simple little robin as a Christmas card design this year and listed it on my Etsy alongside my Penguin and Christmas tree cards.

Bonfire Night is over, so I think it's almost appropriate to mention C********. I'm selling packs of four cards on my Etsy, left blank for your own message. Christmas Cards - Penguin

I've put in an order for these new penguin Christmas card designs as well as last year's five design collection
They will be available to buy at the Sister Sledge Christmas Fair at the Sassoon Gallery on Saturday 10th December and a Christmas Fair at Scout's Hall, Bellenden Road on Saturday 17th December as part of the Nest Gallery table.

Goods for sale

I will be selling my new zine 'Science Fiction Ladies' at the Alternative Press Fair this Sunday for £2.50. The zine ties off the body of work I produced over the summer and comes with six stickers. Also to get in a festive mood, I received my printed cards when I got in from work yesterday! I will be selling these for £5.50 for a set of 5 at the fair and have a small amount available to sell for £1.50 each.


I have five sets of signed digital prints on sale at Tenderproduct in Cecil Court for the Christmas season - Scully, Ripley, Leia, Barbarella and Aunty Entity, retailing at a price of £18 - so pop down and get one if you like or perhaps as a present for someone you know. Tenderproduct's Print Launch is this Saturday, 2-6pm.
