A couple more illustrations for Vittles. Wild garlic for Rich Baker's piece Foraging Leaves (5.5) and a lorry of asparagus for Supply Chains by Devak Mehta (6.6).

A few more illustrations for Vittles. A kitchen cooking set up for 'Getting Horny in the Kitchen' by George Reynolds (2.7) and samosas for 'Samosas: An Illicit Love Affair by Sharan Dhailwal (4.1).

A few illustrations I've done for Vittles. A turnip for Coco Kwok's recipes (2.1), Apocalypse supermarket for 'The Sounds of the Apocalypse by George Reynolds (6.1) and a packet of delicious tempura seaweed for a list of East Asian supermarket treats (3.2). Jonathan Nunn set up Vittles, a new food writing newsletter in this strange time, supporting food creatives. You can support on their Patreon. Thanks to Jonathan for commissioning me to do these, like so many I'm facing a lot of uncertainty with projects over the next few months.
Drawings from our trip to Valencia. We had two days of the city which was a bit quiet and two days in lock down.
I've sent off The Bootle Embroidery back to Bootle Library to receive it's final touches and also get a good iron! I've been working with Our Human Library since September 2018 on a series of workshops. The first was an introduction to embroidery, the second encouraging the Stitch Club to create embroideries inspired by Bootle itself and the third and final workshop was more embroidery and discussing how to pull together the embroideries as a final piece. I embroidered the library and also a portrait of Martin who was an important part of the Our Human Library community and sadly passed away last summer. The Stitch Club runs every fortnight at Bootle Library and is hosted by Our Human Library.
