I illustrated 'This Is Hardcore' by Cath Bore in 'Fuck What You Love', a zine put together by Claire Biddles, designed by Kate Dunstone and featuring illustrations from Jessica Taylor. Popstar crushes explored through writing, design and illustrations from over 20 women and queer people.

Drawing the Pictures

In December, Gerlin (Coincidental Happenings ) posted about 'Drawing the Pictures' . Earlier in 2012 she asked a selection of creatives to produce something that represents their favourite film. I made an embroidery based on a scene from 'Three Men and A Baby', which is easily my favourite film. The zine is available to buy from here and includes some lovely contributions from Daria Hlazatova and Mayken Craenen amongst others. I'm going to give it a read now.

Girls+Zines

'Girls+Zines', an exhibition curated by Barbara Ryan (http://bfrmag.blogspot.com/), opens on Wednesday 3rd August, 6pm-9pm at Tatty Devine, Brick Lane.
I've sent through a few zines for it and the exhibition showcases the work of girls who stay up late drawing, writing, stapling, cut and pasting home-made magazines and zines.

Eight Meals a Day Zine

'Eight Meals a Day' is printed on shades of pistachio, lemon, apricot, peach and strawberry ice-cream, with suggestions for each meal, inspired by the eating habits of friends and myself.
Printed onto high quality 160gsm paper, these will be selling tomorrow at Zine Fest! 2011 at The Women's Library.

Goods for sale

I will be selling my new zine 'Science Fiction Ladies' at the Alternative Press Fair this Sunday for £2.50. The zine ties off the body of work I produced over the summer and comes with six stickers. Also to get in a festive mood, I received my printed cards when I got in from work yesterday! I will be selling these for £5.50 for a set of 5 at the fair and have a small amount available to sell for £1.50 each.


I have five sets of signed digital prints on sale at Tenderproduct in Cecil Court for the Christmas season - Scully, Ripley, Leia, Barbarella and Aunty Entity, retailing at a price of £18 - so pop down and get one if you like or perhaps as a present for someone you know.
