Edible Flower Risograph Print

I've just added my Edible Flower riso print to my Etsy shop. A4 yellow and green inks on pastel green 160gsm card. Edition of 10, all signed and numbered and signed for delivery in the UK. This was made for a zine that didn't happen, so it's good to see it in print.

I've made my Christmas card this year and just posted it on my Etsy to buy. I cross~stitched four Christmas crackers onto aida fabric and had them printed on A6 sized card. You can buy a set of four with envelopes for £8 here.

Pottoms zine

Pottoms zine! Original made for Jack because we always talk about them. Round, old eccentric men (you get female ones but they're more savvy). A mixture of Monty from Withnail and I and Frank Spencer from Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em, asexual, extremely unlucky, they have excellent manners and obsessive hobbies.

A6 sized and eight pages of drawings available to buy from my Etsy for £2.

Cabins on my Etsy shop

I've been developing a few embroideries from my 'Dwelling' zine which I produced for a secret club/en hemmelig klub's The Eastern Forests exhibition, which took place in 2014 in Aarhus, Denmark. The embroidery I showed and the zine I produced for the show depicted tiny cabins within seedheads, which an explorer would come across and ponder what had inhabited the small dwellings.

A few people have emailed me about whether I sell embroideries online, so this little collection is for them if they wish to purchase anything! I'll be adding new pieces over the next coming months as well as some affordable mini embroideries.

Four Seasons

I worked on these 'four season' embroideries over the festive weeks, Autumn Squash, Winter Roast, Spring Greens and Summer Trifle.

There is also a vegetarian version of Winter Roast with a pie. I've made a set of notecards with these embroideries printed on available in my Etsy shop and in one week I will have them in stock at LOIS.

Christmas Cards...

Bonfire Night is over, so I think it's almost appropriate to mention C********. I'm selling packs of four cards on my Etsy, left blank for your own message. The Christmas Tree is a new design for this year. If you're outside of the UK and want to order some cards, drop me an email at hi@reenamakwana.com and we can sort something out. Alternatively, if you are a bit shy to ask me, go to LOIS in Peckham as they have my cards, tote and new cut-out paper doll in stock.

Etsy Shop

I thought it was about time I opened an Etsy, something which I've been thinking of doing for a while during the transition from being unemployed from a regular income to being self-employed on an inconsistent income. I'll have my usual publications from zine and craft fairs but also will be selling a few bespoke ceramics and at some point my potato varieties tea towel when I finally get it printed.
