Royal Wedding/Beltane

Social history and tradition are key themes I investigate in my practice, so naturally this weekend was a good one for me. These photos are from my friend's street party and also from the May Day celebrations in both Deptford/Greenwich (Sunday) and Hastings (Monday).

Shebang - Issue 3

Wednesday saw the launch of the long-awaited third issue of Shebang at 'Eagle Legs' at The Macbeth. Edited by Liv Willars and designed by Lynsey Woods, this light blue zine includes mixtape suggestions, an interview with Hope Roth, Eating in Edinburgh and a guide to both Barcelona and Melbourne.

I illustrated this article on The Great Cake Escape (http://www.myspace.com/thegreatcakeescape) by Liv. The issue is available to buy from here http://www.shebang-mag.co.uk/ where you can also find a list of stockists and all contributors.

Dialogo | Dialogue Private View

Here are some pictures from the Dialogo | Dialogue private view on Thursday night. Thanks to everyone who made it down (or North). The exhibition runs until the 15th of April at the dalla Rosa gallery, so pop down if you didn't make it (opening hours Wednesday-Saturday 12-5pm). I'll post pictures of the full finished mural by Greig and I in a few weeks...I don't want to spoil the surprise...
